Our House - 233 Massachusetts Avenue

Our house is one of the newest and most modern houses on campus, and we have just completed a number of major renovations to get it looking better than ever. New for fall 2003 we have brand new appliances in our industrial strength kitchen, fully renovated bathrooms, and new carpeting throughout the entire house. We built a TV room complete with a big screen TV, surround sound speakers, and stadium seating.

The house is also equipped with 2 huge commons areas, a large weight room, a jam-room, a game room with foosball, pool, and ping-pong, as well as access to cable TV, 100baseT, and wireless ethernet in every room in the house. Best of all, Chicago Pizza is located on the first floor of the building. Drop by any time to hang out and receive a full tour of the house.

We have a great location -- we are located on Mass Ave between MIT and Central Square. We're about a five minute walk to the Central Square Red-line T-Station, which provides fast and cheap access to Boston. But we're also three-minutes from MIT's central campus -- Killian Court, the Student Center, the Athletic Fields, Kresge Auditorium, the Infinite Corridor, school libraries, and Dorm Row. We're across the street from Shaw's Supermarket, Sunny's Diner, a 24-hour convenience store, and a hardware store, and a short walk away from Blockbuster's and a whole bunch of restaurants. At the same time, we're one of the closest student housing to class (which enables us to sleep in just a little bit more before class).

Our house is constantly getting new devices for both academic and recreational use. We currently have state of the art computers for studying and recreational use, a 60-inch HDTV, Xbox 360/PS3/Wiis, and mythTV. We're constantly getting new stuff, provided by common funds, Alumni donations, or undergrads themselves.
